Payroll Specialist Sr

Job Description: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, guaranteeing compliance with Mexican labor, tax, and social security regulations, adhering to internal policies, financial and governance controls. High-quality service experience to associates and stakeholders What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field + 3 years of payroll processing experience in Mexico. Experience handling payroll for 1,000 employees. Experience with payroll systems (preferably SAP, Workday, Workforce). What will be your key responsibilities? Manage accurate weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing. Execute special payroll calculations, including Christmas bonus, vacation premium, and PTU. Validate all payroll inputs, including hires, terminations, salary changes, leaves, bonuses, commissions, and overtime. Calculate and approve severance and termination settlements in compliance with Mexican Labor Law. Ensure IMSS and INFONAVIT compliance, including contributions, reconciliations, employee movements, and reporting. Manage ISR and ISN tax obligations, including calculations, reconciliations, filings, and payments. Execute internal controls (ICE) and support internal, external, and government audits. Manage payroll accounting, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and closing activities. Provide timely and high-quality employee support for payroll-related inquiries, payments, deductions, and pay slips. Drive process improvement, automation, standardization, and documentation to reduce manual work, errors, and rework. What can you expect from Mars ?
