Payroll Specialist

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you will support payroll processing activities, including timecard validation, payroll administration, and helping ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
• You will assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting, helping to maintain the accuracy and integrity of payroll data
• The role involves supporting payroll-related calculations and ensuring information is processed in accordance with established procedures and timelines
• You will help prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROEs), ensuring documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintaining payroll compliance and a high standard of data accuracy will be an important part of your day-to-day responsibilities
• You will serve as a resource for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on payroll-related questions and processes
• The position includes assisting with the development, maintenance, and documentation of payroll standard operating procedures and best practices
• You will work closely with the payroll team on administrative tasks, reporting activities, and process improvements that support efficient payroll operations
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality are key to success in this role
• Overall, you will play an important role in ensuring payroll processes run smoothly while delivering a high level of service to employees and internal stakeholders
