Job Summary
Ready to dive into the world of payroll and benefits? Join our Finance team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. As a Payroll and Benefits Co-op, you’ll be the go-to person for accurate information flow and a key link between Finance and Talent & Development. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in payroll administration and benefits management while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the payroll team with administrative tasks and keep records accurate
- Handle benefits enrolments, changes, and terminations, and distribute benefit cards
- Maintain member records and work with Talent & Development to resolve discrepancies
- Respond to Team Member queries with confidence and clarity
- Jump in on other tasks as needed to support the team
Key Qualifications
- Post secondary studies in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable switching between tasks and managing priorities
- Payroll experience is an asset
