We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll + Accounting Specialist to oversee payroll processing for multiple companies while supporting accounting functions related to payroll and employee benefits. If you enjoy working with numbers, keeping processes running smoothly, and making sure employees are paid accurately and on time, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Payroll

• Process payroll for multiple companies accurately and on schedule
• Enter payroll changes including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, deductions, garnishments, commissions, bonuses, and PTO
• Review payroll reports to ensure accuracy before processing
• Maintain employee payroll records and documentation
• Assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies

Accounting

• Reconcile benefit invoices and payroll-related accounts
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end reporting
• Support general accounting and reconciliation activities
• Work closely with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll accuracy
• Assist with insurance audits and payroll reporting as needed
• Help identify opportunities to improve payroll and accounting processes

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and payroll/accounting software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for multiple companies or locations
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll software
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred but not required)
