Payroll Specialist
Part time, 25 hours per week

Fishers, Indiana

Contract - 2 months

Duties

• Work alongside the current Payroll Specialist to learn payroll processes and responsibilities
• Process payroll using Dayforce for approximately 1,800 employees on a bi-weekly schedule
• Handle daily payroll and compensation forms
• Support heavy payroll processing on Mondays and payroll submission on Wednesdays
• Assist with payroll-related projects and other administrative tasks
• Help cover day-to-day payroll responsibilities while the team transitions and completes HRIS projects

Requirements

• Previous payroll experience required
• Experience with Dayforce is preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including:
• Basic formulas (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUPs
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling confidential payroll information
