Corporate Accountant

Cincinnati - Northeast

Terms: Direct Hire

90-100K

Responsibilities:

• Supports Finance with the preparation and filing of various SEC filings
• Assists Finance with the administration and maintenance of the Company’s lease accounting software
• Supports the Vice President of Accounting with the integrity of recorded transactions and the reported financial results of the company to ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”)
• Responsible for the preparation of account reconciliations of the various general ledger accounts
• Assists with special projects and initiative
• Responsible for, supports and coordinates various month-end close activities
• Assists with the preparation of the Consolidated Financial Statements and month-end reporting packages
• Assists the Tax Director with various tax related initiatives
• Assists with the administration of and accounting for the Company’s equity compensation programs
• Will serve as one of the points of contact between corporate accounting, the various accounting teams throughout the Company
• Will serve as a point of contact for external and internal auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting
• Public Accounting Experience
• An active CPA license and experience preparing financial statements for a publicly traded company
