Director of Purchasing
The Director of Purchasing is responsible for leading the purchasing function as the company doubles it's locations.
Compensation:  180-225K,  DOE

• Lead and develop a procurement team by coaching, mentoring, setting performance expectations, and building expertise
• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives and focus on cost savings, supplier optimization, and total cost of ownership
• Lead strategic sourcing and contract negotiations for high-value suppliers, equipment, services, and projects
• Manage supplier relationships by evaluating performance, consolidating vendors, and negotiating favorable pricing, terms, and service agreements
• Drive procurement systems and process improvements by optimizing purchasing workflows, approval processes, supplier onboarding, and system adoption
• Utilize spend analysis and category management to identify savings opportunities, develop sourcing strategies, and improve procurement performance
• Oversee inventory and warehouse strategies, including replenishment planning, inventory controls, and distribution processes
• Establish procurement governance and contract management practices, including purchasing policies, compliance standards, and contract lifecycle management
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, Construction, and executive leadership to support purchasing initiatives and business goals
