Financial & Pricing Analyst

HeiTech Services is seeking a Financial & Pricing Analyst to support our federal contracting portfolio. This role works closely with Project Managers, Operations, Business Development, and Executive Leadership to drive financial clarity, support competitive and profitable pricing, and enable high-quality business decisions.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and hands-on experience with federal government contracting, including familiarity with FAR, Service Contract Act (SCA), indirect rate structures, and federal cost/pricing principles.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Project Support

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve Project Budget Trackers for assigned programs, monitoring actuals, forecasts, burn rates, and remaining funded value. 
• Collaborate with Project Managers to review financial performance, analyze spending trends, and recommend corrective actions to help ensure projects remain within scope, cost, and funding constraints. 
• Prepare monthly financial summaries, variance analyses, and forward-looking projections, including Estimate at Completion (EAC). 
• Assist the Controller with the development of annual operating budgets. 
• Provide data-driven insights to support operational decisions, staffing and resource planning, and contract compliance. 

Pricing & Proposal Support

• Develop cost proposals for federal solicitations, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost-Reimbursable, and FTE-based pricing. 
• Build compliant and competitive pricing models incorporating labor, indirect rates, fees, ODCs, escalation, and subcontractor inputs. 
• Support pricing for contract modifications, option-year renewals, and funding adjustments. 
• Assist with the preparation of Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs), particularly those involving SCA wage determinations, fringe adjustments, and allowable cost impacts. 
• Maintain pricing templates, rate tables, and historical cost data to improve accuracy, consistency, and repeatability across proposals. 
• Collaborate with Contracts, HR, and Recruiting regarding compensation alignment, SCA wage requirements, and pricing compliance. 

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. 
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, pricing, program finance, or a related field, including at least 2 years supporting federal government contracts. 
• Working knowledge of FAR, federal cost/pricing principles, fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contract structures, and indirect rate application. 
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling, with the ability to work comfortably within financial systems. 
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify trends and variances, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 

Preferred

• Government contracting and SCA experience highly preferred. 
• Experience with JAMIS preferred; experience with Deltek or Unanet is also relevant. 
• Experience pricing multi-year federal proposals and/or managing federal program financials. 
• Experience supporting contract modifications, option years, REAs, or similar pricing activities. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities. 
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
