Corporate Accounting Associate (ManCo)

Corporate Accountant, Management Company

Location: New York, NY (5 Days a Week In-Office) Compensation: $125,000–$140,000 base, plus bonus

We're partnering with a growing private equity fund manager focused exclusively on clean energy infrastructure, on the search for a Corporate Accountant to join its management company finance team.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll own the accounting for the management company entity itself. That means monthly close, journal entries, cash reconciliations, and capital account allocations, plus preparing unaudited monthly financials and managing the year-end audit process with external auditors from start to finish.

Beyond close, you'll prepare FP&A analysis comparing budget to actuals for senior management, manage vendor payments across both the management company and the funds, and coordinate chargebacks between the two with the fund accounting team. You'll also support data preparation for regulatory filings and quarterly and annual tax reporting, along with ad hoc projects as the firm continues to grow.

What we're looking for:

• 3-4 years of corporate accounting experience gained within a private equity or hedge fund, or public accounting experience serving private equity or hedge fund clients
• CPA required
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Strong Excel skills and comfort presenting financial results to senior leadership
