Position Summary:
- Financial Reporting – Provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
- Regulatory Compliance – Adheres to financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements to maintain compliance with federal and state laws.
- Budgeting – Assist in the development of the Bank and Bank Holding Company's budget.
- Accounts Payable – Coordinate processing and payment of invoices, management of the vendor file and related tax reporting.
Skillset & Experience:
- Effective Communication & Collaboration – Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills when engaging with customers and employees, ensuring clarity, understanding, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Problem-Solving & Customer-Centric Solutions – Actively involved in developing solutions that meet the evolving needs of both customers and employees, fostering innovation and efficiency.
- Adaptability & Self-Motivation – Highly flexible in managing changing workloads, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining productivity in dynamic environments.
- Teamwork – A strong team player who treats all staff, customers, shareholders and prospects with respect.
- Technology Proficiency – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with mastery in Excel and other applicable software to support efficient business operations and decision-making.
- Financial Expertise & Control – Proficiency in financial analysis, with a strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial administration, and the understanding of effective financial controls.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting (mandatory)
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience (desired)
