The Accounts Receivable Clerk reports to the Grants Manager and is responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable and grants management from a finance perspective. This position is responsible for preparing and submitting and recording monthly invoices, managing receivables, collecting and recording payments.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred
- 4+ years accounting related experience;
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, set and change priorities while ensuring attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Sage Intacct.
- Non-profit accounting related experience
- Experience in grants management
