As the Accounts Receivable Analyst, you are responsible for the execution of credit and collection policies to safeguard company assets, maintain accurate customer master data, ensure timely collections, and cash applications, and enhance company results. The Shared Services team contributes to consistent, efficient global operations while driving initiatives to automate and simplify processes.
This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 3 days/week onsite at Home Office and 2 days/week from home.

What you’ll do:
- Understand global credit policies and procedures to safeguard accounts receivable.
- Assess credit risk of new customers through analysis of credit and financial information, establish credit terms and limits based on risk assessment, ensure appropriate customer set-up, and continually assess the credit terms and limits for established customers. This may also include consideration of country and political risk, international payment methods, and cultural differences.
- Understand defined collection strategies. Monitor outstanding receivables and customer payment trends. Promote the timely collection of accounts receivable through collection actions, including managing credit holds. Investigate reasons for payment delay and create awareness of potential credit issues, including recommended action to mitigate risk or loss, using targeted communication to appropriate levels within the organization. Pursue improved payment performance and resolution of credit issues.
- Understand and positively impact performance metrics, such as average days to pay, working capital, justification for price increases, etc. Use data to drive measurable results.
- Partner with Customer Service team to manage claims including process and policy definition, timely analysis and assistance with resolution. Work to reduce future claims by resolving root causes issues. Communicate and resolve payment disputes with customers.
- Maintain system setups, support work required related to upgrades, new implementations, and patches, including system testing and improvements. Understand solutions to meet global regulatory changes.
- Perform credit reviews of new and existing suppliers to ensure financial stability.
- Build and maintain relationships within the team and customers.
- Advise and educate Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and other partners related to risk, extended terms requests, payment issues, improvement opportunities, etc.
- Evaluate processes on an ongoing basis. Research and recommend best practices or other opportunities to drive improvements and reduce risk.
- Assist in completing the month-end accounting close process for accounts receivable which includes performing system activities, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and reviewing reports and results for accuracy.
- Represent Credit on cross-functional teams and support Company initiatives.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 1+ year of experience in Finance or related field
- Experience in corporate credit and collections is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Curiosity in leveraging technology and automation to improve processes
- Negotiation ability
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
- Ability to travel up to 5% (within the US)
