We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Columbus location (hybrid). At FCX Performance/a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies the Accounts Payable role has an immediate impact on our customers, on our company performance, and on personal earnings.
Scope of Responsibility:
- Process invoices and related transactions for resale purchases for multiple locations
- Process and pay invoices for non-inventory related purchases
- Verify price and receipt of materials. Work with field locations to resolve exceptions
- Resolve billing, payment, debit/credit issues
- Promote and maintain vendor relationships relating to statement reconciliation and payment cycle
- Process travel and entertainment reports
Requirements:
- Accounts Payable experience with proven success and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Excel and strong computer and data entry skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
