Accounting Team Lead

We are supporting a growing organisation in the appointment of an Accounting Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper, Accounts Supervisor, or Part -Qualified Accountant looking to step into a broader role combining financial reporting, team leadership, and client engagement. <\/span>

<\/span><\/div>Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
  • Lead the delivery of bookkeeping and financial reporting across a portfolio of entities.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare and review management accounts, payroll, reconciliations, and month -end reporting.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day -to -day queries and building strong relationships.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Review the work of the team, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support and develop junior team members while driving consistent processes and best practice.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>Key Requirements:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • Accounting Technician (ATI/AAT), part -qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA, or qualified by experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong bookkeeping experience, including management accounts, payroll, VAT, and month -end processes.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Previous supervisory experience, or the ambition and capability to step into a team leadership role.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks, together with strong Excel skills.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and client -focused approach.<\/span><\/span>
