A leading organisation within the energy and fuels sector is seeking a Commercial Pricing Analyst<\/b> to join their commercial team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to influence pricing strategy, drive margin optimisation, and provide data -driven insights that directly impact business performance.<\/span>

<\/span><\/div>Working cross -functionally with commercial, finance, retail, and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing and supporting strategic decision -making.<\/span>

<\/span><\/div>Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Develop and manage pricing models across retail, commercial, and contract channels to ensure competitiveness and profitability.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for margin optimisation.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Produce regular reporting on sales, margin performance, and market positioning to support business decisions.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support the development of commercial proposals and pricing strategies through robust data analysis and insight.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel capabilities and experience handling large data sets.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proven experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or financial modelling within a fast -paced environment.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>This role would suit candidates coming from commercial analysis, pricing, finance, or data analytics backgrounds, particularly within industries such as energy, retail, FMCG, or commodities.<\/span>
