We are partnering with a well -established energy organisation to appoint an FP&A Analyst. This is a key business‑facing role that blends financial modelling, forecasting, performance analysis, and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement. <\/span>

<\/span><\/div>The position offers strong exposure to senior management, ownership of budgeting and planning cycles, and the opportunity to influence decision‑making through high‑quality financial insight and commentary.<\/span>

<\/span><\/div>Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
  • Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Partnering with business units to understand financial drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and support commercial decision‑making.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Analysing monthly performance, preparing clear variance analysis, insights, and presentations for senior stakeholders.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Developing and enhancing financial models, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve visibility and accuracy.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Driving continuous improvement and supporting automation across FP&A processes.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ensuring strong governance, control compliance, and alignment with audit standards.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 2 years’ post‑qualification experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent financial, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong Excel capability with experience in data‑driven analysis; Power BI or similar tools an advantage.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial modelling beneficial; familiarity with SAP or other planning systems a plus.<\/span>
