A leading Irish real estate investment and development firm is seeking a recently qualified accountant to join their growing development finance team. <\/span>
<\/span><\/div>This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 trained professional looking to move out of audit into a more commercial, forward -looking role with direct exposure to property development projects.<\/span>
<\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/div>Working closely with the development team, you will gain hands -on exposure to the financial management of large -scale projects. <\/span>
<\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/div>Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/div>Financial Accounting & Reporting<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Assist with month -end close processes, including journals and reconciliations<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and audits<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Liaising with auditors and external advisors<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Development & Commercial Finance<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • Supporting budgeting and forecasting across development projects<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Monitoring project spend and cashflow vs budget<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Assisting with financial modelling and project analysis<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Partnering with non -finance stakeholders to understand Construction costs, Development timelines, and Project viability<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/div>
      • Recently qualified ACA / ACCA (or up to ~2 years PQE) <\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Background in Big 4 / Top 10 audit<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Exposure to real estate, property or construction clients highly desirable<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in moving into a commercial finance role<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Confident communicator with experience engaging stakeholders<\/span>
