Accounting Associate

HornBill has a Food & Beverage client in search of an Accounting Associate in Lynn, Massachusetts (MA). Essential Functions:

• Process invoices in ERP system
• Manage electronic invoice approvers
• Process manual check requests, expense reports, and other manual invoices as needed
• Perform payment runs
• Maintain vendor records and new vendor setup compliance
• Manage outstanding check list
• Post cash receipts, discounts, allowances, returns and other charge backs
• Contact customers concerning past due invoices
• Maintain customer records and setup compliance
• Perform general accounting duties
• Assist in month-end close and audit

• Bachelor's degree in related field (i.e. Accounting/Finance/Business)
• 1-2+ years of accounting experience in an accounts payable or receivable role
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel and system skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment within food industry is a plus
