Accounting Assistant Lead

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Pay Range: $28-$30 an hour | Monday though Friday from 8am-5pm

We’re looking for an experienced Admin Lead to join our automotive Business Office/Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with strong dealership accounting experience who has worked across multiple areas of the Business Office and understands the day-to-day accounting operations of an automotive dealership.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day administrative and accounting functions 
• Review and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, and other accounting functions
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain organized dealership files and records
• Assist with inventory and other dealership accounting processes
• Provide support and guidance to administrative staff
• Partner with management and the Accounting Department to ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

• CDK experience required
• Strong experience across all areas of accounting
• Hands-on experience in different accounting positions/functions within an automotive Business Office
• Previous experience handling a variety of accounting responsibilities
• Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting and leading the administrative team
