Accounting Assistant II/Cashier

Position Title: KVCC Accounting Assistant II/Cashier

Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:

Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Support Unit as a Level 12. Salary range is hourly $20.53-$22.25.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Associate's degree in accounting/business administration.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree Two years combined experience in collections, accounting. EXCEL, as well as communications and organizational experience.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from financial data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential in performing the functions of the job.
• Experience working well within a team environment, strong interpersonal written and oral skills; prioritize and multi-task: database Skills and working knowledge of word processing,

Work Schedule: Full-time, in-person position. This role requires the employee to work on-site during regular business hours.
