The Accountant will be a key contributor to the finance department. You will support the month-end close process, general ledger maintenance, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, assist in client invoicing and accounts receivable tasks, and process improvement/automation efforts. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist with the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses
•    Maintain and update the general ledger: review, clean up and monitor account balances, sub-ledger tie-outs, and ensure accurate recording of transactions
•    Prepare expense accruals, prepaid expense amortizations, and other routine accounting estimates
•    Assist with client and partner invoicing and accounts receivable management, including aging, collections support, and reconciliation
•    Collaborate with the Senior Accounting Manager to ensure all accounting policies and procedures are adhered to and help identify opportunities for process automation and improvement
•    Assist in implementing and maintaining a high-quality ERP environment (Sage Intacct) including support for modules tied to GL, A/R, A/P and reporting workflows
•    Support audit activities by preparing schedules, responding to inquiry, and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
•    Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance systems, and project teams to gather data, ensure alignment of accounting entries, and improve controls
•    Consolidate all global cash balances and develop a 13-week forecasting tool to enable the company to understand its weekly/monthly cash requirements and comply with its debt covenants.

•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
•    3–5 years of progressive accounting experience and general ledger duties
•    Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets
•    Solid understanding of GAAP, with experience in month-end close and reconciliations
•    Experience with Sage Intacct or other mid-market ERP systems preferred
•    Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and evolving environment
•    Ability to drive process improvements and adopt automation or best-practice workflows
•    Must successfully complete and clear the company’s comprehensive background screening process as a condition of employment

Physical Requirements
This position involves prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer within a typical office or cubicle setting, which may include constant background noise and fluorescent overhead lighting.
