Job Summary

Loomis Union School District is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and collaborative Accountant to join our Business Services team. Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Business Services, the Accountant performs professional-level accounting and fiscal duties, including financial reporting, budget development and monitoring, account reconciliation, attendance accounting, position control, and support for payroll and annual audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, exercise independent judgment, and work collaboratively with district administrators and staff to ensure accurate financial reporting, sound fiscal practices, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Experience in California public school accounting and proficiency with Excel and financial management systems, such as Escape, are highly desirable.
