Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Accountant I is to reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts and to prepare month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant I has analytical skills to help conduct analysis on various general ledger accounts and handle general accounting and financial processes. The individual should be willing to help develop and integrate new processes and procedures.
