A HornBill client in the Farmington, Connecticut (CT) area has an opening for a Core Accountant. Responsibilities will include:
- Journal Entries
- Reconciliations
- Variance Analysis
- Master data maintenance
- Audit system of record
- Validate the data
- Follow-up on errors
- Updating contacts in SAP
- IMS invoice posting
- Manage the group email
- Years of Experience: 5+ years accounting
- Technical and analytical
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables)
- Multi-tasker; be able to re-prioritize quickly
- Software: SAP and/or JD Edwards
- Demonstrated hands-on accounting experience despite level of position due to many disruptions
- Industry experience is a plus, but ideally someone in a large corporation environment
