Benefits: The Accountant is responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, preparing company reports, and reviewing data to ensure financial compliance.  An ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes on challenges with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.  This position reports to the Controller and works closely with other Dinges Fire team members on a daily basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
·        Assist with month-end and year-end closings ·        Complete account reconciliations·        Make general ledger entries·        Review financial data for accuracy·        Complete inventory cycle counts·        Research and resolve inventory variances·        Analyze, prepare and file sales tax returns·        Perform advanced Excel functions to organize data and create reports·        Other duties as assigned
Skills and qualifications:
·        Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree·        At least 2 years’ experience in accounting or related field·        Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel·        Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously·        Ability to read and analyze financial reports
