TalentBridge is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its expanding finance and accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close.
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support revenue and accounts receivable accounting, including related reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, merchant transactions, and other cash activity.
- Assist with payroll and benefits accounting, including related general ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset schedules.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain organized documentation to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
- Partner with accounting leadership to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of journal entries, accrual accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in a multi-location or growing organization preferred.
- Exposure to revenue accounting, merchant reconciliations, or payroll accounting is a plus.
- Self-motivated, collaborative professional who enjoys improving processes and taking ownership.
