Position Summary

We are seeking a Staff Accountant who enjoys ownership, analysis, and cross-functional partnership. In this role, you will support Business Unit Controllers and the Corporate Controller by maintaining accurate financial records, completing month-end close activities, preparing reconciliations, analyzing results, and helping improve accounting processes. This position is a strong fit for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and ready to take the next step in a hands-on corporate accounting environment.

This position has no direct reports.

Physical Demands

Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to work with the fingers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office.

Travel

Up to 20% travel may occur.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.

Preferred Education and Experience

CPA license or CPA eligibility; public accounting experience; NetSuite experience; experience in transportation, logistics, port operations, automotive services, or another multi-location operating environment.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
