Job Description
- Procurement of software, cloud services, general outsourcing, and intellectual property (IP)/license-related services used in internal business operations.
- Confirmation of requirements, usage conditions, contract scope, budget, and schedule in collaboration with the requesting department.
- Market research, supplier search and evaluation, request for quotations, price and contract term comparison and negotiation, and ordering procedures.
- Optimization of contract types, usage quantities, pricing structures, and renewal/cancellation terms for new and renewed software/cloud services.
- Coordination of business scope, deliverables, unit prices, and acceptance criteria for outsourcing projects such as consulting, system development, and operational support.
- Collaboration with legal, information security, intellectual property, and accounting departments to confirm contracts and risks, manage suppliers, analyze expenditures, and promote procurement strategy and business improvement.
- Global procurement in collaboration with procurement departments of overseas bases and affiliated companies.
MUST
- 2+ years of practical experience in procurement, purchasing, contract management, or vendor management.
- Work experience related to any of the following: software, SaaS, IT services, general outsourcing, IP/licenses.
- Ability to read, compare, and organize key points of quotations, proposals, scope of work, and major contract terms.
- Ability to smoothly coordinate with requesting parties and stakeholders such as legal, information security, IP, and accounting departments.
- Negotiation skills with suppliers regarding price, delivery time, scope of work, contract terms, etc.
- Basic skills in expenditure/price analysis and document creation using Excel, etc.
WANT
- Experience in procurement of software licenses/SaaS, IT services, consulting, development/operation outsourcing, and IP-related services.
- Experience in contract practices such as license agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Experience in cost optimization through optimization of usage quantities, contract consolidation, competitive bidding, etc.
- Experience in category strategy, supplier evaluation, expenditure analysis, and procurement process improvement.
- Knowledge of risk assessment related to information security, personal information protection, sub-contracting, and intellectual property rights.
- Experience in obtaining quotations, confirming contracts, and coordinating with suppliers or overseas affiliates using English.
