About the role

The Senior Staff Accountant will have responsibility for preparing journal entries, work paper preparation, ad hoc analysis, and general accounting for assigned companies. What you'll be doing

Processes the monthly, semi-annual and annual general ledger closing procedures including journal entry preparation and review, trial balance tie out and balance sheet scheduling. Prepares and distributes all required financial reports for general ledger processes. Calculates various monthly accrued expenses. Analyzes and resolves all open or reconciling items on account schedules in a timely manner and manages the workpaper preparation and documentation Monitors and prepares all ACH/wire transfers, bank reconciliations. Creates and provides input into various ad hoc reports including, variance analysis, and Business Unit Reports. Coordinates and assists with audit process. Participate in peer review

Who we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dedicated accounting environment Proficiency in MS Office products with advanced working knowledge with excel. Timberline experience is preferred. Knowledge of general ledger, bank and account reconciliations, ACH/wire transfers and invoice and scheduling review. Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate with various teams and departments
