Benefits: POSITION PURPOSE: The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial integrity and stewardship of the organization's resources by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adhering to nonprofit accounting standards. This position oversees key accounting functions, including fund accounting, grant and contract reporting, month-end and year-end close, financial statement preparation, and audit support. 
The Senior Accountant partners with leadership to provide timely financial information, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with donor restrictions, federal and state regulations, and organizational policies. This position plays a critical role in supporting the organization's mission through sound financial management and accountability.
