Senior Staff Accountant - Daytona Beach, FL

What You’ll Do

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate supporting documentation
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support annual audit activities, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions and operational improvements
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports for leadership
• Assist with bank reconciliations and inventory accounting
• Collaborate with internal teams to support overall financial objectives

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA strongly preferred
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated stability/tenure in previous roles
• Construction or real estate industry experience is a plus
