Overview
The Gothenburg, NE Corn Handling facility receives corn from local farmers and converts it into raw material used to produce Doritos, Tostitos, Fritos, and other snack foods. The Global Procurement Coordinator is an on-site administrative support role with a broad scope of responsibilities, including:
- Inventory accounting and transfers
- Daily outbound logistics
- Order management
- Compliance program coordination
- Accounts payable and payroll support
This position will also provide support for the inbound grain probe and corn testing laboratory.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Bookkeeping focused on grain inventory
- Facilitate execution of by-product sales, including price communication, invoicing, and reconciliation
- Reconcile grain deliveries and perform receipts against purchase orders
- Internal material transfers to PepsiCo production facilities via SAP
- Share responsibility for site period-close grain inventory management
- Create other goods and services purchase requisitions and process invoices for payment
- Support Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
- Participate in various site focus teams
- Own outbound grain shipment logistics
- Work with third-party transportation vendors to arrange and schedule truck orders for loading
- Communicate with the headquarters Commodity Ordering Team and finished product manufacturing sites to ensure an efficient supply of business raw materials
- Oversee railcar bill of lading execution
- Support all front office functions and fill in as needed, including completing payroll and performing other duties as assigned
- Backfill and cover the Probe position as needed; this includes probing inbound trucks, evaluating and grading corn samples, and ensuring accurate information is recorded in the computer software
- Backfill and support other site duties, including but not limited to:
- Accounts payable
- Food safety programs
- All site audits
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $41,300 - $65,950.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Excellent computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
- Ability and willingness to support site operations with occasional weekend or holiday work as needed to meet demand
- Ability to flex work schedule to cover occasional weekend, holiday, or after-hours work to meet shipment and site needs
- Excellent written, electronic, and oral communication skills required
- Ability to travel occasionally if off-site training is required (<5%)
- Previous experience scheduling orders with third-party transportation vendors preferred
- Candidate must have the indefinite right to work in the U.S.
