    The Black Horse Pike Regional School District has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk at the District Office.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    2. Understanding of the New Jersey procurement and bidding process.
    3. Working knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets and word processing.
    4. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines.
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    REPORTS TO: School Business Administrator

     JOB GOAL: To ensure that products and services are purchased according to New Jersey

                           procurement rules and that District bills are paid in a timely manner. 

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Assist in ensure that all purchases are made according to New Jersey procurement Guidelines.
    2. Assist in printing purchase orders and send appropriate copies to vendors and District employees.
    3. Assist Procurement � Accounts Payable Coordinator with all aspects of accounts payable, including matching invoices to purchase orders and processing payments.
    4. Maintain spreadsheets for payments and voided checks, file paid vouchers.
    5. Assist with the generation of the Bill List and review before submission.
    6. Print/copy checks: record the date and check number on each purchase order.
    7. Assist with obtaining the documentation (Form W-9 and NJ BRC) for and creating new vendors in CSI.
    8. Assist in the processing of student activity purchase orders and corresponding payments.
    9. Assist with the Form 1099 preparation and distribution.
    10. Assist the Business administrator at bid openings.
    11. Assist with maintaining records, attendance, transportation, billing for Out-of-District tuition students and bedside instruction students.
    12. Handle correspondence, filing, and general duties.
    13. Other tasks assigned by the Business Administrator or Assistant Business Administrator.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:    Twelve (12) months.

    EVALUATION:                           Performed annually by the School Business Administrator

    Salary based on education and experience on the District Salary Guide - $39,000 - $77,611.
