Information on the division:

Located in Strongsville, the 110+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for the final assembly of landing gear.

As part of the Central Division, you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, and important military programs such as F-18, F-35, C-17 and C-130.

With a strong focus on latest technology of manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

Summary:

The Payroll Clerk will process employees’ paychecks by collecting their payroll data and timesheets. They will issue deductions, earnings, and other statements to employees and update payroll records regularly.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in UKG and Baan.
• Reviews payroll records and approve employee information changes.
• Resolves any discrepancies surrounding payroll issues.
• Process bi-weekly payroll as directed by payroll supervisor.
• Assist payroll processing for 3 manufacturing plants with support to a 4^th.
• Answer employee queries as front-end support to Payroll.
• Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping confidential information.
• Work with Finance and HR on special projects.
• Post and process journal entries within General Ledger to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Participate in internal and external payroll audits.

Our ideal candidate:

• 2 years’ experience processing payroll for multiple shifts.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel required. UKG experience a bonus.
• Accounting college work or associates degree preferred but not required.
