Job Summary

The Manager, Payroll and Benefits completes the accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple employee groups across various provinces and states, ensuring full compliance with all applicable legislation. This role completes required payroll activities, including tax filings, benefit and pension remittances, reconciliations, and year-end reporting. In addition, the Manager administers employee benefits programs such as health, dental, pension plans, and 401(k).  This position also plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity within the HRIS by ensuring accurate information entry and updates. The Manager ensures that all payroll and benefits processes are executed with precision, compliance, and a strong focus on delivering a positive employee experience. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and alignment with organizational goals, legal requirements, and best practices.

Location

This is a hybrid work arrangement based out of our Home Office location in St. George, Ontario and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in office and the other days can be remote.

Employment Type

This position can be filled on a contract or, permanent basis. The start date for this role is ASAP and if the successful incumbent is looking for a Contract role, the expected end date is June 2028. This role has become available as a result of a leave.

Hours of work

If a candidate is seeking a 0.8 or 0.7 FTE arrangement, this could be considered once they are comfortable with the responsibilities of the role.

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 depending on the skill and experience level of the selected incumbent.
