About the Global Payroll Manager Role
The Global Payroll Manager will support payroll operations for employees across multiple countries and jurisdictions. This position will oversee international payroll processing, compliance, tax-related matters, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
The role will also work closely with payroll leadership, human resources, finance, external providers, and other internal partners.
Role Responsibilities
Coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple international locations.
Review payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, adjustments, and employee changes.
Help ensure compliance with applicable international payroll and tax requirements.
Partner with external payroll providers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Respond to employee questions and address escalated payroll matters.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to a payroll team member.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll controls, procedures, and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least three years of international or multi-country payroll experience.
Exposure to payroll operations outside Northern America is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of international payroll taxes and compliance requirements.
At least one year of supervisory, team-lead, or employee-development experience.
Experience using a Human Capital Management System
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical ability.
Personable and confident communication style with a willingness to learn established processes.
