The Role

The Manager Accounting must serve as the key point of contact for complex client matters and operational requirements. The role requires providing training, coaching, and support to team members. The Manager must ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely client work. You must maintain compliance with Group policies, Company standards, and local regulatory requirements. The role involves building and managing strong senior-level client relationships. The Manager must also develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, structures, and strategic objectives.

What You'll Do

• You'll manage a client portfolio, handle client complaints, and resolve complex issues to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• You'll review complex tax computations, financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients and authorities.
• You'll ensure the implementation of new methodologies, standards, regulations, and software enhancements to continuously improve client service and compliance.
• You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and the Associate Client Services Director to support effective client servicing, task allocation, and resource planning.
• You'll oversee team performance, staff development, planning activities, and information security requirements, while ensuring compliance with IQ-EQ Mauritius' ISMS framework.

About You

• You hold a degree and/or a relevant professional qualification.
• You have extensive managerial experience in fund or corporate accounting services.
• You possess extensive experience in complex accounting and financial reporting.
• You have a sound knowledge of IFRS, including the preparation of financial statements and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• You have proven experience managing senior-level client relationships and are proficient in Microgen.
