Accounting Manager

Overview

Highly compensated, highly visible position ideal for an accounting services professional with 8 to 15 years of investment accounting experience – either directly for a fund, with the Big 4 and financial services clients, or a combination of both. Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor across the finance and business development teams
• Analyze complex investment transactions and legal documents to identify impact on the business
• Advise on accounting matters related to business development and corporate strategy
• Engage in discussions around deals and other key transactions
• Provide technical accounting oversight, partnering extensively with the external big 4 teams
• Lead initiatives around reporting to ensure disclosures and statements are in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred
• 5-10 years of big 4 or public/private experience
• Financial services industry preferred
• CPA required
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting topics
• Data Analytics and AI tools preferred
