Your Opportunity
Our North Bay office is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the Assurance team. This is a replacement role where the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
- Effectively perform assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed
- Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements
- Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience
- Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client’s business

Your experience and education
- You have completed or are actively working towards your CPA designation.
- You have 1-2 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
- You enjoy working within a variety of client industries and are keen to develop further knowledge in this area.
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
The expected range of compensation for this role is: $ 54,000 to $ 66,000
