Location: 9655 Granite Ridge Dr #500, San Diego, CA 92123 Scheduled: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–2:00pm (In-office)

Responsibilities:

Generate pre-payroll audit reports and assist in correcting errors prior to payroll submission. Collect, verify, and input employee timekeeping data (e.g., hours worked, leave taken, and overtime). Maintain payroll records by collating, calculating, and entering data. Review time sheets for proper signatures and managerial approvals. Process accurate and timely payroll (bi-weekly), including direct deposits and manual checks. Calculate and apply earnings, deductions, benefits, commissions, taxes, and garnishments. Prepare payroll summaries, and internal reports. Submit and track Personnel Action Forms as needed. Respond to employee and HR inquiries regarding payroll issues and discrepancies. Provide documentation and support for audits and year-end processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state California, and multi-state payroll regulations. Support HR and finance teams on special projects and during audits. Provide backup support for other payroll functions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations and identify appropriate solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and respectful dialogue. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. High attention to detail and strong time management skills. Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and professionalism. Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

This position offers a pay range of $22$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
