Gl Accounting Specialist

As a GL Accounting Specialist , you will need to ensure accurate accounting for all transactions booked in the location's books. Making and reversing accruals as required to reflect the operations of the company. You will be reporting to Assistant Manager – General Ledger Accounting. Main Responsibilities Manage the analysis of accounts according to business requirements Handle Month end closing journals Increase efficiency and streamlining finance process flow. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements. Account reconciliations in line with corporate guidelines Preparation of books in US and local GAAP Other ad-hoc requests as vital Qualifications Diploma in Accounting with at least 2 years of working experience in GL accounting experiences Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Have Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience – Oracle/SAP would be of added advantage Experience with MNC or public listed company Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (both verbal and written).
