Accounting Coordinator

• Generate journal entries
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial statements
• Assist with consolidation package for parent company
• Prepare internal management documents
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Assist with physical inventory counts
• Record all Honda sales and other sales on a daily basis
• Post payments in the system when received
• Reconcile received payment differences
• Work with Shipping, Sales, Purchasing, and Accounting to perform cost analysis.
• Match coil receiving tickets to HTA invoice and post
• Maintain inter-company freight costs and record cost split with J-Group
• Assist with the development and implementation of J-SOX
• Track and plan cost of New Model Development

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting.

Five (5) or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company.

Experience in budget control, inventory control, fixed asset control, payables, and receivables required.

Experience/knowledge in consolidated accounting, budget planning, cash management, funding, corporate tax auditing, state and local taxes strongly preferred.
