Your Contribution
As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for maintaining a solid financial foundation for HZPC Holding and SBDA. You ensure reliable reporting, robust financial processes, and insightful analyses. In addition, you play an important role in strategic decision-making and complex projects within the organization, including the Aurora project.
In this role, you combine financial control with business control. You act as a critical sparring partner to management and the Board, identifying opportunities and risks and translating financial data into practical insights and recommendations.
You will also support activities related to our MTF environment. You maintain relationships with external parties such as Captin, coordinate certificates and reporting activities, and ensure accurate and timely information is provided to the Board and other stakeholders.

Specifically, your main tasks include :

• Responsible for the planning and control cycle of HZPC Holding and the monthly closing process for SBDA
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and annual financial reports
• Coordinate and prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for HZPC Holding
• Act as a financial sparring partner to management
• Identify risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations
• Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with external auditors
• Provide financial support and coordination for complex reporting matters
• Coordinate activities related to the MTF, including contacts with Captin, certificates, training, and reporting
• Safeguard internal controls, compliance, and governance processes

Your Profile

You are an experienced finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in an environment characterized by complex challenges and a wide variety of stakeholders. You combine strong financial expertise with a pragmatic mindset and are able to challenge management through sharp analyses and well-founded advice.

Additionally, you have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance & Control, Business Economics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial control, business control, or a similar role
• Experience with complex financial reporting and planning & control processes
• Strong analytical skills and excellent financial insight
• Experience in an advisory role supporting management or executive leadership
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• A proactive and independent working style
• A good command of both Dutch and English
