Financial Analyst II

Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Executive Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst II is responsible for developing complex financial reporting and metrics, monitoring financial activity for accuracy and timeliness, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and fiscal policies and procedures. The Financial Analyst II is required to perform variance analysis on actuals, rolling forecasts, plans, and projections, including preparing narrative on findings and recommendations. Individual must be a team player and good communicator and possess the ability to independently prepare complex financial reporting, forecasting, cost analysis, and recommendations.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in finance or accounting. Two to three years of experience in preparing financial reports and dashboards.Preferred QualificationsAbility to export and use complex Excel formulas to consolidate and summarize information into a meaningful, easy to understand report for various levels of management.
