Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Coordinates the development of budgets and forecasts.
• Analyzes financial data to support strategic decisions.
• Identifies trends, risks, and opportunities.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepares financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Coordinates audits and liaises with auditors.

Budget Management

• Oversees departmental budgets.
• Monitors expenditures and ensures alignment with financial goals.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manages cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.
• Maintains strong oversight of operating results and balance sheet health, with particular focus on working capital management.

Team Leadership

• Supervises finance and accounting staff.
• Designs, implements, and manages internal controls and financial policies to ensure the accuracy of financial results and safeguard company financial assets.

Strategic Support

• Advises senior leadership on financial implications of business decisions.
• Supports investment activities, capital structure decisions, and potential mergers and acquisitions activity, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition integration support.

Risk Management

• Identifies financial risks and develops mitigation strategies.

Business Partnering

• Acts as the main liaison point with corporate and group finance teams and builds strong working relationships with business leaders across the organization.
• Translates financial results, forecasts, and business drivers into clear recommendations that improve operational performance.
• Works with business leaders to identify financial risks and opportunities and ensure accountability for financial outcomes.

Productivity Improvement

• Utilizes AI and other technology to automate repetitive finance tasks, improve speed and accuracy, and significantly increase the productivity of the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and enterprise financial systems (preferably NetSuite).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to executive leadership.

Skills and Competencies

• Expertise in data visualization and financial storytelling using tools like MS Powerpoint and Excel powered by CoPilot.
• Strong command of ERP systems and experience implementing or optimizing financial automation tools.
• CPA certification required; CMA or CFA is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and influence financial strategy.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong business partnering capability, with the ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders, and translate financial information into practical business actions.
