Job Description:

This role provides manager-level finance leadership for Corporate Segment close-cycle reporting, governance, planning and forecasting, allocation oversight, executive narrative, and cross-functional issue resolution. The Finance Manager owns outcomes within the assigned portfolio, exercises sound judgement to resolve complex issues, and makes timely, risk-informed decisions with appropriate escalation. The role proactively engages stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, business partners, control functions, central finance teams, and other groups to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, understand inputs and downstream impacts, and drive improvements to processes, controls, analysis, and deliverables.

Job Summary

The Finance Manager – Corporate Consolidations integrates Corporate Segment financial results, key drivers, significant items, treasury and liquidity considerations, stress testing impacts, and operational inputs into clear management reporting and decision-support materials. The role takes end-to-end ownership of assigned outcomes, applies critical thinking and sound judgement to complex or ambiguous issues, and recommends or implements practical solutions. As a trusted finance partner, the Finance Manager constructively challenges inputs and assumptions, anticipates risks and opportunities, makes decisions within delegated authority, and continuously improves reporting, controls, stakeholder alignment, and ways of working. Success requires agility, accountability, and readiness to adapt priorities and approaches as business needs evolve.

Key Accountabilities

• Stakeholder relationship and outcome ownership: Own relationships and outcomes across Finance, Treasury, business partners, control functions, central finance teams, and other stakeholders. Proactively clarify requirements, establish accountabilities and timelines, challenge assumptions constructively, and build the subject-matter knowledge needed to assess inputs, resolve gaps, and explain downstream impacts.
• Reporting, analysis, and insight: Lead Corporate Segment close-cycle reporting, variance and driver analysis, executive-ready narrative, and management reporting outputs. Apply critical thinking to distinguish underlying business drivers from data noise, draw clear conclusions, and deliver recommendations that support timely management decisions.
• Planning, forecasting, and allocations: Own assigned planning, forecasting, expense allocation, and methodology workstreams from definition through execution and follow-up. Evaluate assumptions, assess financial and operational impacts, make recommendations, and drive alignment and decisions with partner teams.
• Problem solving and decision making: Diagnose and resolve complex cross-functional issues involving treasury and liquidity impacts, stress testing, data quality, data lineage, reporting consistency, and close-cycle execution. Consider multiple variables, balance speed, accuracy, risk, and business impact, make decisions within delegated authority, and escalate selectively with clear options and recommendations.
• Controls, governance, and judgement: Apply a risk-based control mindset and sound professional judgement across reporting, planning, allocations, close-cycle execution, governance activities, and sensitive financial information. Identify emerging risks, challenge ineffective practices, and take timely action to strengthen control design and execution.
• Process improvement and change leadership: Challenge established ways of working and lead sustainable improvements that simplify processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort and noise, improve visibility, and enhance recurring deliverables. Translate identified opportunities into clear actions, decisions, and measurable outcomes, and adapt implementation plans as priorities or constraints change.
• Team leadership and constructive challenge: Set clear expectations, encourage respectful challenge and critical thinking, coach peers and analysts through complex work, and build capability through knowledge sharing and cross-training. Foster a collaborative culture focused on ownership, quality, inclusion, agility, accountability, and timely decisions and escalation.

Breadth & Depth

• Manager-level role with broad Corporate Segment impact and end-to-end accountability across close-cycle reporting, planning and forecasting, allocations, governance, controls, stress testing, executive communications, process improvement, and partner engagement.
• Owns business outcomes—not only task completion—by integrating financial analysis, reporting challenge, recommendations, stakeholder alignment, risk considerations, and decision support within the assigned scope.
• Solves complex and ambiguous problems involving multiple variables and stakeholders; evaluates alternatives, makes risk-informed decisions, implements solutions, and escalates where authority, materiality, or risk requires it.
• Constructively challenges assumptions, established practices, and proposed solutions; communicates complex results, risks, issues, and recommendations in clear business language; and influences alignment and action with increasingly senior stakeholders.
• Operates with significant autonomy and sound judgement, adjusts priorities and approaches as business needs change, leads process and performance improvements, and guides analysts or specialists supporting related deliverables; generally reports to a Senior Manager or above.

Experience and Education

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant finance experience, including management reporting, financial analysis, planning and forecasting, allocation support, treasury or liquidity reporting, stress testing, governance, controls, or close-cycle execution.
• Accounting designation preferred.
• Experience with executive reporting and commentary, allocation methodologies, earnings drivers, balance sheet or economic impacts, data quality, and cross-functional issue resolution is an asset.
• Demonstrated capability in ownership, complex problem solving, independent decision making, professional judgement, constructive challenge, and critical thinking. Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and influence skills are required, together with the agility and change readiness to improve processes, adapt to evolving priorities, and translate partner deliverables into clear finance impacts and actions.

Work activities include a blend of highly collaborative activities and individual deliverables. Individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week. Colleagues may spend more or less days in office as required by the business line.
