Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our organization in Udaipur, India. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations, lead a dynamic finance team, and drive strategic financial planning to support organizational growth. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and providing actionable insights to senior management. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the daily operations of the Finance Department and ensure accurate, efficient workflow
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with established timelines
• Prepare statutory financial statements, management accounts, and comprehensive Profit and Loss reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and organizational financial procedures
• Maintain effective internal controls and segregation of duties across all financial functions
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities on audit and compliance matters

Accounts Management

• Supervise and review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
• Verify cash, credit card, and other payment transactions for accuracy
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads
• Monitor departmental expenses against approved budgets and analyze variances
• Provide strategic recommendations to management for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
• Support and drive effective cost-control initiatives throughout the organization
• Analyze revenue reconciliation and identify opportunities for financial improvement

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
• Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to improve team performance and professional growth
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within established deadlines
• Promote teamwork, professional standards, and continuous improvement within the Finance Department
• Create a supportive environment where colleagues feel trusted and inspired to grow

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard organizational assets
• Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate control measures
• Assist with internal, external, and statutory audits
• Maintain proper financial records and supporting documentation
• Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial transactions

Payroll & Inventory Coordination

• Review monthly payroll and related financial reports for accuracy and compliance
• Verify payroll-related costs, deductions, and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Monitor inventory reports and investigate significant variances
• Support regular stock-taking and ensure proper inventory controls

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline

Professional Experience

• Significant professional accounting and finance experience with a proven track record of success
• Demonstrated experience in a senior finance or team leadership position
• Practical experience in statutory reporting and managing month-end and year-end closing processes
• Experience working with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting and finance teams
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue reconciliation

Technical Skills & Tools

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and financial software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and data interpretation

Knowledge & Expertise

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations (including VAT and withholding tax)
• Strong understanding of internal controls, financial compliance, and segregation of duties
• Familiarity with payroll management and inventory control procedures
• Knowledge of risk identification and mitigation strategies

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
• Experience in a hospitality, retail, or multi-departmental organization
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Experience with financial forecasting and strategic planning

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in photography and videography, preferably with F&B, hospitality, luxury lifestyle or premium consumer brands .
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both photography and videography skills , particularly food, lifestyle and hospitality content.
• Good understanding of food photography and videography , including lighting, composition and styling.
• Strong knowledge of camera equipment, lenses, lighting and basic audio equipment.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software .
• Ability to independently conceptualise and execute content from brief to final output.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, short-form video and social media content formats .
• Creative eye with strong attention to detail and composition.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage multiple shoots and deadlines.
• Comfortable working flexible hours when required for events, weddings, dinners and special activations.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to identify content opportunities independently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with F&B brands, luxury hotels, restaurants, bars, resorts, lifestyle brands or premium hospitality businesses will be strongly preferred.
