Job Summary

Lead Ruggable’s global direct Procurement function.  You’ll coordinate the monthly S&OP process with key cross-functional stakeholders in our Commercial and Manufacturing functions to align on target inventory levels and supply plan.  You will lead a team of supply planning and procurement professionals and be responsible for core vendor relationship management. 

What You’ll Do:

• S&OP Ownership: Align with cross-functional counterparts on seasonal demand plans and align critical leaders to raw material inventory strategies, Purchase Order plans, on-hand inventory values
• Supplier & Vendor Management: You’ll manage core raw material vendors, provide raw material purchasing visibility, negotiate core raw material pricing , evaluate vendor performance (OTIF, Quality, etc), and resolve supply chain risks.
• Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives without reducing quality or availability of raw materials;  you’ll be responsible for holding vendors accountable to raw material price stability, and ongoing cost improvements from production efficiency and reduction of core input pricing
• Digital Transformation: Lead digital procurement and supply planning upgrades; you will drive improvement of real-time inventory visibility, proactive supply chain risk identification, and supplier schedule visibility
• Team Leadership: Mentor corporate and international (Asia, India, others) procurement & supply planning teams;  you will drive a continuous-improvement mindset to improve forecasting process accuracy and raw material inventory efficiency 
• Enable business transformation;  Your team will help enable business and product line expansion in direct partnership with sourcing, product development, and commercial teams;  you will hold vendors accountable to on-time, in-full delivery of products for all launches

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

• 10+ years of direct supply planning and procurement experience, preferably in the home goods or textile industry
• 5+ years of experience with vendor management, including contract negotiations, production scheduling, and regular performance reviews
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite or SAP;  
• Experience with MRP software 
• Experience working directly with external suppliers in Asia and/or India
• Experience S&OP processes in a multi-channel global organization
• Ability to solve complex problems relating to logistics, forecasting, raw material production 

Preferred:

• Experience in implementing MRP software
• Experience in AI tooling to improve supply forecasting and/or risk identification
• Direct management experience of teams in Asia and/or India
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement (eg. CPSM, CSCP)

Compensation:

● $150,000-175,000 per year base salary based on experience
● An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
● Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
