Your job

As Director, Procurement, you will drive strategic value and operational excellence across a global spend portfolio spanning Technology, HR, and Finance. In this role, you will directly oversee the IT Procurement team as you work in close alignment with the CIO and CTO to optimize enterprise tech sourcing. Additionally, you will manage a Senior Procurement Manager who leads the HR and Finance spend categories, including the contingent worker program, ensuring high alignment across corporate services and workforce strategy.

To thrive in this position, you will bring deep domain expertise in these spend areas alongside a balanced leadership approach: you know how to get into the weeds of granular contract reviews and commercial deal structures, yet you lead by empowering your team to take ownership and execute autonomously. You will balance high-growth agility with robust governance, driving long-range sourcing strategies while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.

Who you are

• Thought Leadership: Design, develop and execute on a vision to deliver on the agenda of simplifying the technology and HR procurement processes through long range planning and execution, right-sizing and transforming the use of vendors across the enterprise
• Team Leadership: Manage, develop and coach Category Specialists, Category Managers, and Procurement Managers.
• Contract and Negotiations: Drive negotiations on commercial procurement agreements, including, but not limited to, Master Agreements (MSA’s) , Statements of Work (SOW’s) , Change Orders (CO’s) balancing business deliverables, legal interests and pricing
• Partner Engagement: Work directly and partner with leadership to proactively drive initiatives within the existing supply base and provide leadership in all vendor and sourcing activities
• Category Management: Develop, refine and implement category strategies and tactics that enable the procurement of products and services to align with the business and deliver highest value

Who we are

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and a minimum of 15 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience; or a PhD with  8 years experience
• Demonstrated experience with a global perspective in Technology, Consulting Services sourcing, contracting and negotiations
• Experience working with Senior Executives across multiple business functions internally and with suppliers
• Exceptional communications, interpersonal and presentation skills with solid influencing and persuasive talents
