Controller

We’re working with an established construction company looking to add a hands-on Controller to their team. This person will report directly to ownership and oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial reporting and month-end close

• WIP reporting and revenue recognition

• Job costing and profitability analysis

• Cash flow management and forecasting

• Oversight of AP and AR

• Banking relationships and financial reporting

• Work with outside CPA on tax, audit and year-end reporting

• Maintain accounting processes, controls and compliance

• Provide financial reporting to ownership and project management

What They’re Looking For

• Strong construction accounting background

• Experience with WIP, job costing and construction financial reporting

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems

• Construction  experience strongly preferred

• Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly with ownership and operations
